Tara was emaciated and pregnant with Tie Dye, probably 700 pounds
underweight, when recused from a Premarin factory in 2013.
Tara now, with her friend Dante. That's why we named her Tara, "never be
hungry again!"
Dante had a hard time eating and keeping weight on when he, too, came to
us rescued from a Premarin mill in 2009 -and then we had an equine dentist
come. What a difference that made!
Dante has filled out now and is one handsome - and healthy - boy! Our
Premarin rescues are understandably timid of humans so they have 5 acres to
enjoy their privacy.
Bronco Billy, on a chain at an Alaskan road side attraction. We brought
him to LARC in 2011 along with 28 others and only with the gracious help of
good Samaritans, Mr. Bob Barker and Ms. Nancy Burnet.
Bronco Billy in 2021, with Dr. Lorin. Although we do not encourage
handling wolves or wolfdogs unless they request it, BB would be very sad to
go without his belly rubs.
