Happy Valentine's Day from all of the veterans and animals at LARC!
The Lockwood Animal Rescue Center (LARC), offers a therapeutic work environment for our returning combat veterans and a forever home to wolves, wolfdogs, coyotes, horses, parrots and other animals. Located on a 20-acre facility with a 3,000-acre buffer, we offer both the veterans and our rescued animals an opportunity to heal and thrive in a back-to-nature setting.
Here are LARC's top Valentine loves...
Blade and Lavannah, our inseparable pair who you saw on the Wolves and
Warriors series.
Yoli has been with us for over ten years but his greatest love is for
his packmate Virginia Wolf.
Willow is a tough gal, but she has a soft spot for her partner Vigil.
Twiggy and Big Boy are a goofy pair who were rescued from a petting zoo
and fur farm.
The Three Musketeers! Ruby, Joey and Gomez are rarely apart. Our veteran
staff are constantly entertained with their whistles, cat-calls and
endearing invitations to play with them. Although their door is open for
them to explore their huge flight aviary these three like to perch on top of
the door for photo ops!
