Jungle Friends
Primate Sanctuary
November 2014
Thanksgiving is a holiday to honor our blessings and give thanks for all we have received throughout the year. As we celebrate, know that YOU are on our minds and in our hearts. Whether you are a monkey sponsor, a volunteer, or a donor -- without you, we could not provide forever homes for the monkeys.
A simple thank you is not enough to express how grateful we are so we've solicited the help from some of our monkey friends.

"Earlier this year one of the discs in my back ruptured leaving me
paralyzed from the waist down. Despite a grim prognosis from medical
professionals, you never gave up on me. It is because of your generous
donations my caregivers at Jungle Friends were able to build me a
're-habitat' so that I could recover from my injuries and learn to walk
again. I am forever grateful for your support and love. Thank you for
believing in me and never giving up!"

"I spent the first 30 years of my life as a pet. My reflection in a hand
held mirror was my only monkey friend. Then one day I was brought to Jungle
Friends Primate Sanctuary where I met the love of my life, Bongo. We became
best friends and spent every moment with each other. Now, the only time I
see my reflection is when I look into Bongo's eyes. My gratitude for your
support knows no depths. Your generous donations have provided me with a
forever home filled with love alongside the monkey man I love. Thank you for
saving us both!"

"I've spent a life living inside, never knowing the feel of sunlight on
my face, the wind through my hair or the grass at my feet. The University of
Georgia science lab where I lived for so many years graciously collaborated
with Jungle Friends for my retirement. After months of planning, myself and
six of my UGA buddies finally arrived at our new home. Thank you for helping
raise the funds necessary to build our new habitat and for giving me a life
outdoors."
This is just a small glimpse into the impact you have had on all of us at Jungle Friends. We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving filled with good food, great company and more monkey love than you can handle!
Thank you from all the humans too!
