Rooster Redemption
July 2018

Roosters (male chickens) are viewed as one of the most 'disposable' animals on the planet.

Rooster Redemption is a 501(c)3 Non Profit microsanctuary located in Minnesota where roosters rule. [What's a microsanctuary?]

Why a rooster rescue?

Roosters (male chickens) are viewed as one of the most "disposable" animals on the planet due to the fact that they don't lay eggs and many cities prohibit them. For every egg-laying hen, there's a homeless, abandoned, or dead rooster. Roosters are also highly exploited for cockfighting, an illegal sport in the United States.

This is a memoriam to some of the roosters who have been rescued by Rooster Redemption.

We are beyond grateful to have spent time with these incredible souls, they transitioned knowing love...we love you boys and will never forget you:
