Dave loved his wife, but he was getting to the age where he began to notice attractive women as he was about his day. Women he worked with at the office or at the grocery store or on the street or even those he saw on television. His mind began to wander more and more about relationships he imagined having with dozens of different women in various situations.
One actress in particular on a television program caught his eye and he would often imagine being married to her and what life would be like as her husband.
Tragically, his friend, who he played golf with on Saturdays, wife died in a head on collision with a huge semi truck. His friend could not be consoled. There was nothing Dave could say or do to comfort him.
Later that night, Dave looked over at his wife, held her hand and began to imagine her as the subject of his affection.
