We like to envision elk living free in the wild, as this bugling bull elk is doing.

We like to think of the great outdoors, and the wild animals that God has given us, such as this bull elk in Jasper National Park.

There is something so endearing about baby animals, that most people want to cuddle them, such as this baby elk living free with his family in the wild.

Reality

(Elk - Canned and Trophy Hunting - 05)  The Bible teaches us in 1 John 2:16 that the nature of the sins of this world are manifested in us as "the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life."  To us, it is obvious that those who participate in these kinds of activities are fulfilling all three of these evil characteristics, and none of the desires of our Father who is in heaven.
