Pet Theft Awareness Day

February 14th is Pet Theft Awareness Day. Each year Last Chance for Animals
coordinates efforts to bring pet theft to the attention of the media and elected
officials across the county.

LCA has prepared info packets containing directions for promoting PTAD in your
own community. Included are suggestions on securing PTAD Proclamations by
local city and county officials, sample letters to the editor, press releases, and
information of the horrendous crime of pet theft, where family pets are stolen and
sold into research and dog fighting.

Contact me by private email, or call me at 310-271-1890.
