Urgent - House Votes to Stop Steeljaw Leghold Traps in National Wildlife Refuges

Last Wednesday, July 14th, the U.S. House voted to stop federal funding for commercial and recreational trapping with steel-jawed leghold traps on National Wildlife Refuges. This is good news, but we need to call or email our senators right away and urge them to vote on a similar bill which comes before them early this week.

Tell your Senators to support the Torricelli Amendment to the Senate Interior Appropriations Bill, to stop federal funding for steel-jawed leghold traps on National Wildlife Refuges.

Please call your Senators at 202-224-3121 or find their email address by going to this page...
