Upcoming Statewide Animal Rights Festival
Activists from all over the tri-state area and beyond
meet for a special one-of-a-kind event
Check out the New Jersey Animal Rights Alliance 7th
Annual Animal Rights Festival to be held on Saturday, October 23, 1999
from 10:30am - 6pm at the Unitarian Church of Princeton, 50 Cherry Hill
Road, Princeton. This is the only event of its kind in New Jersey,
attracting people from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and beyond. If
you care about animals and would like to know what you can do to help,
then this is THE place to be!
Workshops given throughout the day cover a wide array of
animal rights issues. The workshops, designed for both novices and
seasoned activists, help individuals become involved in the movement for
animal liberation. Topics range from the use of animals in circuses and
dispelling the myths about Canada Geese to promoting veganism (total
vegetarianism) as a way to attain animal rights.
Exhibitors and vendors distributing lots of animal
rights information and merchandise will be featured throughout the day
and reasonably-priced vegan (total vegetarian) food will be available
for purchase.
Admission is open to anyone who is concerned about
animals. The price of admission is ONLY $3 in advance or $4 at the door.
Send SASE with $3 (check or MO) to New Jersey Animal Rights Alliance, PO
Box 174, Englishtown, NJ 07726. Confirmation, directions and tickets
will be sent by return mail. For more information, call NJARA at
