Urgent: Homes Needed for 300 Cats in Indiana
By Source: [email protected] (Gela Altman)

I have been alerted about an emergency situation in Highland, Indiana, that I would like you to share with your members:

Some 300 cats in a junk yard to be destroyed in less than 2 weeks. The junk yard owner died. The widow and daughter sold the property and will destroy cats

Betty Jarvis (219.923.6286) and a group called Strays in the Garden are trying to rescue the cats. They need homes: foster homes for the moms and kittens, especially. Please contact Betty if you can help.
