EcoMall Launches a Search Engine! Largest Environmental Mall/Expo

For your review, the following is information about the EcoMall, (launched on November 15, 1994), the oldest and largest environmental shopping center and Expo on the Internet, for retailers and wholesalers of environmentally friendly products and services.

Advertising at the EcoMall will increase your business and help customers find you (see advertiser "Testimonials" below). We will feature links to your website under all the appropriate categories at our site (see "EcoMall Companies and Products Categories" listed below, or go direct at (http://www.ecomall.com/biz), as well as in our new search engine.

In addition, the EcoMall is a content provider for Snap! Online (owned by NBC) and Lycos (the fourth most popular site on the Internet) and as an added opportunity for exposure, we invite our advertisers to write articles about their area of expertise which we feature at both sites. To see the EcoMall at Snap!, go to http://www.snap.com and at the top of the home page, click on "Directory". Under "Directory Categories", click on "Society & Politics". Under "Featured Content", click on "People & Society News" (or go direct at http://www.snap.com/LMOID/resource/0,566,-239,00.html). You'll see the EcoMall with six articles listed. To see the EcoMall's column, "Shopping Green" at the Environment News Service section of Lycos, go to http://www.ens.lycos.com/features. Articles remain at Snap! for a week and at Lycos for a month. These articles are permanently archived at EcoMall's popular in-house magazine, "Green Shopping" at http://www.ecomall.com/greenshopping. There is a search engine on every page of the EcoMall that searches "Green Shopping Magazine" and when our visitors type in any words that appear in your article, it brings up your article with a link to your web site. Your article will also be indexed in the main EcoMall search engine as well.

MONTHLY NEWSLETTER: As additional exposure, the EcoMall has a popular monthly e-mail newsletter featuring updates from the site. The newsletter links to articles written by advertisers for "Green Shopping Magazine" (to join our mailing list, go to http://www.ecomall.com/biz/email.htm).

PUBLICITY: The EcoMall has been featured in: Time Magazine, Yahoo Internet Life Magazine, Popular Science Magazine, CNN Online, The New York Times on the Web, MSNBC Online, The Wall Street Journal's Internet Supplement, Vegetarian Times, New Age Journal, E Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, Earth Island Journal, In Business, PC Computing, Net Magazine, Net Guide, CBS Radio, and The Washington Post Online.

COST OF ADVERTISING: For companies with their own web sites, the cost is $300 for six months or $500 a year for hyperlinks to your home page under up to five appropriate categories. This includes a description (up to 10 words) next to your company name. Companies can use one uniform description for all categories or customize different descriptions for each category, and we can link to your home page or to specific sections of your web site. Advertisers also submit 25 keywords and a description (up to 15 words) to be entered into our search engine. This will generate increased traffic to your site.

Payments are accepted by check or credit card and listings are added within 24 hours.

BANNER AD PROGRAM: We offer three banner programs: In Banner Program 1, we feature your banner ad in rotation on our home page and throughout our site. In Banner Program 2, we feature your banner ad in a specific category of your choice. In Banner Program 3, our "keyword banner" program, your banner ad will come up whenever users type in a specified keyword in our search engine. Special pricing on combinations or variations on the above banner programs are also available. (Banner specifications & Guidelines: 468x60).
