The innkeeper is vegan and serves vegetarian and vegan breakfasts. The full breakfasts are sit-down style on a long 19th century pine harvest table. On sunny mornings tables for two are offered on the front veranda. The inn is located in a home built on two acres in 1879. The Mendocino coast offers a variety of outdoor activities including mountain bike trails, river canoe trips, whale-watching tours, hiking, and kayaking.

Located in the Espanola Valley, The Inn of Nectar sits on five acres of desert in the Sombrillo Hills. This self-contained vacation rental provides whatever creature comforts you may want, including a dishwasher, private phone, VCR and video library, and business-related needs. The kitchen is kept vegetarian, and vegetarian meals can be provided on request for an additional charge. The owners also periodically "exchange" the Inn for homes in other locations.

In between eating these wonderful vegan meals, take advantage of the surrounding country for skiing, hiking, canoeing, and visiting local historical sites.
