There are those who believe that every living creature
has value . . . those who care passionately about the plight of animals
in our society . . . those who have the courage to speak out for those
who have no voice and the desire to make a difference . . . those who
have the strength and determination to put compassion into action . . .
Join People For Animal Rights on October 14, 2000 as we
celebrate Compassion In Action: an Animal Rights Symposium, located at
the beautiful Hyatt Regency Hotel in midtown Kansas City. Scheduled
speakers include some of the world's foremost experts in the areas of
factory farming and animal experimentation to running the largest
no-kill animal sanctuary in the US and protecting endangered wildlife.
For a mere $25 registration fee, attendees will enjoy a
day of mingling with fellow animal lovers, learn from committed
activists such as Robert Cohen and Michael Mountain, and delight in a
gourmet vegan lunch buffet. Hotel rooms at the Hyatt are available to
symposium attendees at a special discounted rate.
