I am writing you today to ask for information on your
youth volunteer and/or internship program. We at Youth Corps for Animals
(YCA) are assembling a list of animal protection organizations that
would like to increase their work with young people wishing to volunteer
for the animals. (You may have received an email like this some months
ago. If so, I apologize. This project was just restarted after a break
of a few months and I may be duplicating some of the work that had
already been done.)
The YCA website will enable young people interested in
helping animals to find a variety of volunteer and internship
opportunities with diverse animal protection organizations. The
underlying concept of YCA is to connect young people to their specific
areas of interest in the animal protection movement, and to introduce
them to the organizations in their communities. The website will allow
young people easy access to information regarding local animal
protection organizations and/or organizations whose work is specific to
their areas of interest.
