Assistant Web Designer / Part Time
In Defense of Animals an international non-profit animal
advocacy organization is seeking an experienced Web Designer.
This is a part-time position. You must be able to work
Monday through Thursday 9 AM - 2 PM in our Mill Valley, California office.
Occasional (1 – 2 days a week) telecommuting may be possible.
Ideal candidate would have an understanding of web
architecture and process from beginning to end, knowledge of image
preparation/optimization for the web, follow instructions/guidelines and
be detail oriented. Preferably with several years of web design,
development and implementation experience.
You will be working primarily with HTML (hand-coding is a
must), CSS, some PHP and JavaScript. We use Adobe Suite, so Photoshop
knowledge is required.
You will be working under the direction of Sr. Web
Designer, along with a team of 3 others.
