The bird is caged, alone all day.
The owner's at work, it's been 10 hours.
Locked away from freedom, the bird suffers with anguish.
The animals die in our zoos and out homes.
Plucked from the herd
In a truck all alone
We save the animals from their habitat
Then fly them back to unfamiliar climate zones
for our enjoyment, we have them slaves, captives.
The animals die in our zoos and our homes.
Plucked from the herd
In a truck all alone
With no home
Waiting to be owned.
