One Small Miracle
by Guila Manchester

You see the little sparrow fall,
I need Your help right here.
I've got a baby cardinal;
He's grown so very dear.

He's making such a fight for life.
I want to hear him sing.
I want to let him know the joy
Of every living thing.

I know You must be caring
And You must have seen him fall,
Or we never would have found him.
He would not be here, at all.

I ask You very humbly.
I'm even going to beg,
To grant us one small miracle
And give him one good leg.
