Our Silence About Animal Abuse Promotes Abuse of Humans
Comments by Dena Hunt - 30 Aug 2003

Thanks, Gregory,

Your experience is very similar to my own. And I agree with you about "sin."

The word "conscience" means "with knowledge."

The Holy Spirit, the Lord said, would lead us to all truth, but of course, we have to listen. Not to listen, to ignore (and thereby to deny) the truth, is to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. And yes, this comes to my mind whenever people say they "don't want to know" about animal farms and slaughterhouses. I am very often confused because this comes from people who are much better Christians than I am, even pastors.
