Dear Tev:

I guess it's possible, but I don't think it's the case. We are told (perhaps allegorically) that, upon discharge from the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve would struggle to get food. It's been that way throughout history, as the Malthusian dilemma has always plagued human (and nonhuman) populations. That is, population sizes increase exponentially and invariably outstrip food supplies.
