Wonderful news! We wish you the best with your more compassionate diet. Just remember that fresh water and sea creatures suffer, too.
Since the whole of heaven is a spiritual realm, everything in it is also spiritual, some of which could be food. God gave us the pleasure of eating, and according to what is said, that pleasure seems to exist in heaven. It's one of those things that probably will remain a mystery until we get there, but we cannot discount it, either.
I, Frank, have probably preached in all the denominational churches in and around our area, and have held non-denominational and interreligious services, and I always speak about our common basic beliefs, and for eleven years I was the pastor of a Methodist/Baptist federated church. I always avoid taking sides on doctrinal issues and when talking about them, I'll explain that most of these issues are "positional" and are often view by others in different ways (and explain the differences). Most of what you have observed seems to be from someone preaching doctrine and not Jesus Christ, and about living in the heavenly will of God.
As Jesus tells us, perfect heavenly love covers most of our sins and fulfills the whole Law and the Prophets (the Hebrew Bible).
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
