However, you fail to explain why the Hebrew of Genesis 2:7 says that Adam became a 'living soul' (neh-fesh khah-yaw), and that the same Hebrew phrase is used to describe every other animal that God created in Genesis 1.
Humans may have certain qualities that animals don't have, such as the responsibility to be able to lovingly and compassionately care for God's creation, but we were all created as living souls.
