Is it really Christian?
Comment by Frank and Mary Hoffman - 27 Jan 2008

Dear Richard:

You never responded to whether or not you had read the referenced article we sent you. Living in the Will Rather than the Concessions of God.

This was to be our lead in to discussing the answer to your question, as it has a direct bearing on understanding Biblical teaching.

You might want to read Matthew 25:31-46, as the least of these also included the animals, for no righteous and loving God would ever have created a sentient being to suffer. Animals feel pain just as we do, and this is why God gave us only plants to eat, since they feel no pain.

And, Jesus allowed the demons to enter the pigs to show the people that the pigs would rather die and go to heaven than live on earth with demons.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
