Conversations with Animal Farmers

Dear Robby:
It is a surprise to hear from a dairy farmer like you. We don't hear from many, and we appreciate your candid comments and photos.
The Psalm doesn't sound like commercial farming to us, it's more like the family farms of yesteryear when cows lived 20-25 years.
One thing we don't understand is that while you see all the horror of commercial animal farming, you still want to be in the business. Why not be a vegetable farmer, and you'd probably make even more money and never contribute to the harm of another animal. Can you explain this?
