I am a egg producer myself, however, my hens are allowed to perch, dustbathe, and nest in a nesting box. They are all vaccinated for all avian diseases, and are debeaked but not to the extreme that they cannot preen themselves or eat properly. NOT ALL Egg PRODUCERS are like the factory farming you portray. I would welcome anyone into my chicken house to see how my hens are cared for. My motto is : Home of the Happy Chicken" This is a true statement. Please continue to monitor all the large egg producing companies. I for one, appreciate why you do what you do. I am the exception.
