Did Abel or Cain Offer a Lamb in Sacrifice to God?
Comments by Frank and Mary Hoffman - 22 Mar 2009

Dear John:

Thank you for writing.

The translation of the Hebrew into English was made directly from the Hebrew, so we don't believe that the problem is multi-linguistic.

God created every animal and human as a living soul, so we should look at them all for our understand.

The Essenes did follow the Mosaic Law but not the sacrificial system, as they believed in God's grace for forgiveness, much in the same way that Jesus taught.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
