Do Animals Go To Heaven?

I am concerned about what to feed my cats. I have seven wonderful cats and two beautiful dogs and want to give them all the love and comfort possible. I believe God put all creatures into our care for us to nurture and protect. My dilemma is that I am a Vegan, but cats can NOT exist on veggies, fruits and grains. They become extremely ill and wasted and it is very cruel to take meat away from a carnivore. So, in order to keep them healthy, I contribute to the slaughter of innocent animals by buying the products made from these poor animals. Can you help me with this?

Bless you for all your reassurances on animals going to Heaven. That belief has kept me going through some very painful losses. I can't imagine a loving God not taking animals into His loving embrace. The animals are innocents, just as children are and we all know that all children go to Heaven.
