In Reference to: Hebrews 9:27
Thank you for your commentary on Hebrews 9:27 and the feelings surrounding death, We, and many of the people that we minister to have felt the same way.
However, we have found that instead of being angry with God, which some people hold onto for the rest of their lives, if we hold on to God with all of our might for support, the pain of mourning is lessened. And sometimes our question, “Why did You let this happen?” is actually answered.
Also, everyone wants the assurance of knowing that their loved ones are in heaven or are going to heaven. Since God is the creator of heaven and earth, allows life, death and resurrection, and provides a heaven that is free of all the pains and suffering of this corrupted world, then it really makes little sense to get angry with God, for our loved ones are in a far better place.
In the Love of the Lord,
