Dear Carole:

We believe that God does mean what He said, and the lion and the bull would be held accountable.

Most predatory animals kill the weak and sick animals. This may have something to do with the way God looks at the situation. And, humans are excluded from being their food.

But on the other hand, so are humans being held accountable. Human retribution for killing animals seems to be an ongoing process even before our accountability after death. When a human engages in killing animals, they harden their hearts so that they no longer feel empathy for the animals, which is counter to God's desire for us to have a soft, loving, compassionate, and peacemaking heart and soul. And almost all chronic diseases and viral infection have been proven to come from humans raising, killing, and eating animals.

We hope this helps answer your questions.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
