Commentary on Genesis 9:2-4
By Anita - 27 Jun 2012
I read your commentary on Genesis 9:2-4, about whether we may eat meat or not. I looked some of it up myself, and it sounds absolutely logical what you wrote about that God does not mention kill and eat meat, but more eat of what they produce (like eggs of reptiles), and that flesh does not mean meat but actually "animate beings", still I have not yet got it all figure out since I after read your commentary, came to think about the dietary restrictions which is to be found in the Holy Bible, at Leviticus, chapter 11. In that chapter it says that you may eat meat and of what type of animal you may eat it's meat! Does this not go against what you commented about Genesis 9:2-6?
This is still not settled for me so am asking you, and looking forward to your reply!
May God bless your effort and determination to find the truth!
