God and Suffering

Thanks much for your valued input, Frank and Mary. I always like that you wait to step in until it appears a discussion appears to have run its course for the most part, and then add your thoughts, and these are very good.

I was just thinking yesterday about both the depiction of the Garden in Genesis and the depiction of the Peaceable Kingdom in Isaiah as Biblical "proof" (at least from my perspective) of what surely seems to be God's true will for all Creation. Suffering has no place there. I'm not sure that humans are fully responsible for all suffering, either, or that we're fully capable of eliminating it, but at least it's incumbent upon us all to do our best to try.
