Well, we obviously all have some concerns about Heifer's projects. Let me draw your attention to a well-organized series of articles that Mary and Frank Hoffman have compiled over the years on their site:

I think they've done a fine job in presenting the various problems with this type of charity, from the few articles I've read. It really is quite an extensive group of articles. Thanks Mary and Frank for presenting this exposé.
