Thank you very much for writing and telling us about the problems and situations you are concerned about.
First of all, we believe that eating the flesh of animals is part of the fallen world in what we live, but at the same time it is totally against God's creation and heavenly intent, it is part of the concession that God 'allowed' because of the hardness of the human heart in the hope that we would one day return to Him with a soft and repentant heart.
And, nowhere does the Bible say that God killed an animal to clothe Adam and Eve with skin. All it says is that God clothed them with skin, which He could have just as easily have created as He did everything else.
The Hebrew sages considered all the hunters mentioned in the Bible to be evil...so much for using them as an excuse for trying to justifying hunting.
Hunting and the killing of another living being requires the killer to not have empathy for the feelings and desires of that animal, and thus it hardens the heart, which is totally against Biblical teaching. Christians are to be loving, compassionate, peacemaking children of God.
The two-edged sword is a spiritual sword which represents the word of God, and its ability to penetrate into our souls and spirits. It is not a justification for war or killing; it is just the opposite.
We hope that this helps answer your concerns.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
