My question (or statement--I don't remember which), however, is more of a practical nature rather than a philosophical one. Practically speaking, there may very well be more protein in broccoli but, as I am understanding nutrition, you need to have "complete" protein. Is broccoli a complete protein or must it be combined with something else in order to make it complete?
I made one of your recipes last night that combined rice, tofu, almonds, peas, broccoli and cauliflower because I knew that somewhere in this mix was "complete protein"--maybe even more protein than one might need in one meal (I don't know). But, in browsing through your other main entrees, I did not see (readily) a complement to the "plant" protein that would make a meal containing a complete protein. Are you familiar with this nutritional concept? This food combining concept is what I am wanting to learn so that my efforts at vegetarianism is successful and so that my pet companions and I do no not become deficient in vitamins or minerals.
