Good morning Frank.
Wonderful sermon as usual. Each time I read your sermons it reminds me of the old saying. You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make the horse drink the water. The words of God are very simple to understand both for the intellect and the uneducated.
The verse -- For what will a man be profited if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul is one of my favorites.
Saturday I went to Allerton Park in Champaign, Illinois to protest a scheduled Bow Hunt to kill Deer. The experience made me realize how sick and demented our society has become. The deer could have been tranquilized and moved elsewhere but that would require money and time and inconvenience. This disrespect for animal life has created a society that condones the brutal murder of many of Gods most beautiful creatures.
Each time I read your sermons I also simultaneously think about the millions of animals that are brutally killed every hour throughout the world violating the very essence of what God represents which is to promote kindness and life not murder and death.
Frank, you inspire me to take action to do Gods work, to try every method, old and new, to make people aware that they can get along perfectly well in life without supporting or killing any living creature.
For the sake of all animals.
