Dear Pastor Hoffman,
I hope I am not becoming a bother by my frequent emails to you regarding your sermons, but I find things in them that inspire me and help me, and I just want you to know this.
I was especially touched by your sentence, "So when things are so wrong that we don't know what to do about them, we can still be thankful that such things are limited to this earth; and that when we come into all of the Lord's Glory in Heaven, all such things will be gone."
Sometimes, I feel overwhelmed when I read of all the intense suffering people and animals are going through and I feel so helpless to try to stop any of it. I pray, but of course until Jesus comes again, these atrocities will continue because of sin and satan. Your wonderful sermon, and that particular sentence gave me peace. I know many suffer and die and I wish with all my heart that this wasn't so, but someday, this world and it's evil will be no more. There will be no crying in Heaven, and I believe our animals will be there with us too. This helps me to keep fighting the good fight, even on the days when I want to hide under the covers.
Thank you for doing what God wanted you to do. Pastor Hoffman. He truly has begun a good work in you.
Sincerely,
