Thanks for your answer.

What I have come to understand about the character of God which usually shocks most people is this. Jesus is the standard of all truth and he has revealed the true character of God.

The 10 commandments are also the revelation of Godís character.

By this standard we can discern between truth and error. Sin is transgression of God law. We know that itís impossible for God to sin. Here is the part most people have a hard time to grasp, God has never killed anyone and never will.

When we correctly understand this concept that God doesnít kill and go back to examine the Old Testament you will discover that in all places were god said to kill this canít be from the real God for he tempts no man to do evil. There in a fake lord in the Old Testament who claims to be god, it is Satan himself pretending to be god.

I know this is hard to accept but I pray in time you will see it. God is total pure love and itís impossible for him to sin. He keeps his own law for the law is the revelation of his pure and Holy character. It takes many years to learn this but we have to put away our pre-conceived opinions and learn from Jesus.

I hope we did not offend.

God bless.

Jerry
