In Reference to: 16 February 1992 - THE CARE AND NURTURE OF GOD'S LOVE AND FAITH IN THE WORLD
I found this sermon particularly helpful this morning. If I am doing Gods work for the whole of creation, which for me means being vegan, trying to end the suffering of animals as well as humans, then I should expect that I will get picked on, and will be viewed as weird and that means I am on the right path. I am not going with the crowd.
This was helpful because sometimes I do get discouraged when I feel shunned, but if I remember that this isnt about me, its about doing the work of God for his creation, to be thankful that God has called me in this direction, turning away from things of my previous life, I can have joy about this, instead of feeling discouraged. Thank you for all that you do.
