Dear Chip:

Thanks for responding. We appreciate you comments.

If you look at John 10:27-30, your will see the God aspect of incarnate Jesus. Part of understanding this mystery is keeping an open mind about who the man Jesus is in both his heavenly and earthly qualities. Please cite the passage where it says that Michael is Jesus and not just the messenger of Jesus, which is the true meaning of the word angel.

John 3:16 says that God so loved the WORLD, in essence the whole of creation, humans, animals, and the environment. This also reflects God original commandment to Adam (Mankind) in the garden of Eden about dominion and rule (Genesis 1:26, 28) that it really means a protective stewardship, and not brutal dominance as is practiced by most who say they believe.

We agree that we are not to be a part of the political squabbling, but we are still called upon to peacefully stand against the forces of evil, as we are told in Ephesians 6:10-20.

The problem with presenting this kind of "evidence" as in a court, is that the judge and jury have their own preconceived ideas. We are a part of the spiritual realm living in a physical and sinful world. There is only one righteous Judge and He is God.

Our main point in all of these discussions is that we should focus more upon our commonalities in and with God, than is the relatively few doctrinal differences that have a tendency to separate us, as the devil tries to do to weaken us.

As peacemaking children of God, we should be against all forms of violence (war, capital punishment, the exploitation and killing of animals, and the abortion of human babies).

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
