Thanks for you response and explanations.
Are you saying that Moses did not write the law books of the Bible? What of Jesus' affirmations and references to Moses doing so? And from what I understand, when documents have been discovered that are older copies, they differ very little from previously found writings, such as dead sea scrolls. If it was so many different writers with differing opinions, wouldn't there be glaring inconsistencies, as opposed to the way the Bible books fit?
And what is your opinion of Jesus sacrificing his life on the cross? I cannot believe anything that would negate His gift to us- to do so would be to minimize His defeat of death via the cross.
I am truly trying to keep an open mind about your explanations, and have been pondering them. I do not mind hearing something different, as long as it maintains the integrity of Gods word. I do believe that the Bible is inspired and true. Do you believe it to be so?
