Dear Friends:

After reading all of these horror stories about your church experiences, it seems that these churches are proving their wickedness by their cruel sense of "compassion" for both the animals they kill and the sensitive people that they hurt with their insensitive and cruel remarks. It's not that we are judging them, it's that we are recognizing them by their fruit, or lack of it.

Ray is correct that we need to teach the unconditionallity of God's love for the whole of His creation (humans, other animals, and the environment). Steve Kaufman of CVA and we have been working on this for many years, and we have made very little progress, and the progress we are making is mostly with the laity. Our teachings are all encompassing, yet most people don't seem to want to hear it.

On the other side, many sensitive people say that they want to have a church that is compassionate toward them and the animals, and nine years ago, we had a lot of people suggest that we start an on-line church, which we did, but there was little support. Every Sunday morning, we continue to send out a sermon to over 4,000 people that is solidly Bible based and most often includes animal and environmental relationships to the teaching, yet only about 25 people read the sermon on a consistent basis, and that number grows on an average of only 1 additional reader a day. Our ministry is to help those of you who are hurting, and we are trying to do so every way we can. Perhaps some of you can tell us what we are doing wrong.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
