The Dilemma Caused by Being Vegetarian in a Christian Church

Michael

So well said and so true Michael. I attended your session at last years AR Conference in LA and you where just as eloquent and on target there as your response is here. I now that we all feel for Betty and the dilemma that she is now facing, I believe that for all of us who came to the vegan lifestyle and AR activism when we were adults, it came as a hard and often painful awakening to discover just how much rejection and ridicule one has to face. For Betty, and any others who have just recently begun this path it is a new revelation. For people of faith, with All Creatures, CVA, Vegetarian Friends and the like it can shake ones faith and make it a much harder path to follow.

And to my fellow list members, if you are not familiar with the work of S.A.E.N. and are interested in learning more about animal rights as well as cruelties, go to Michaels site, (www.saenonline.org

It is both a informative resources as well as a fantastic research tool.

Blessings for your wonderful work
