Nice to concur on some of these points Rod.

I'm especially intrigued about how you equate Biblical and scientific time scales.

I've been working on two perspectives. One is a mathematical model in which I translate the essentially hyperbolic function of scientific dating into a linear Biblical scale.

The other model uses the now widening scientific consensus that the speed of light is non-constant and slowing. In this case, what appears to have occurred over millions or billions of years (in conventional dating) can be taken to have occurred over a mere a few thousand (corrected) years.

Are you down any similar path?
