Stating it another way, if the stranger was your father and someone chose to save their pet instead of your father (because he was a stranger to them), how would that make you feel? Just because someone is a stranger to you doesn't mean that he or she is a stranger to all. Just a thought from the mother of 3 very much loved kitties.
