That's the thing about animals, we care for them so much that we would treat them better than we do ourselves. Unfortunately not everyone respects them and purposely abuses them, but then they get their comeuppance when the animal attacks.
Thank goodness for vegans/ vegetarians because they show the most respect toward animals by not eating them and fighting for their rights.
We must all be shepherds to human & non-human animals.
