I have to respect a person who decides not to eat meat and be a vegetarian, but God has permitted the eating of the 'flesh' to man after the flood, and as of yet we are not God, so this is a conscience area for people to make their own decision.
I certainly know Jesus ate 'fish' and he even did a miracle with 'fish' to feed the multitude. So I see Jesus as being concerned for the welfare of people and saw they were fed, but he was very much aware it was more of what came out of our mouth, then what went in it.
