The Fellowship of Life arose from the aspirations of disenchanted
churchgoers in the U.K.
Our aim is to encourage vegetarianism as a Christian way of life and
unite believers of all religions, or none, in a lifestyle which neither
hurts nor destroys needlessly any part of creation; human, animal or
environmental.
Our symbol consists of physical, resurrectional and ecological images.
The sacrificial meaning of the Cross should not be forgotten. The
sacrifice of ourselves which may include old beliefs and traditions, as
we seek to do the will of God in everything. All life is sacred and all
life is one. Therefore one part is rarely made to suffer without the
whole suffering.
The FoL message is rather an echo of an earlier admonition:
"...to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God." Micah
