Christian caring Recent correspondence on the subject of vegetarianism in relation to
Christianity prompted me to ask if any of your readers would care to
join The Anglican Society for the Welfare of Animals. This is a belated
attempt on the part of some impatient Anglicans to put our house in
order and re-interpret Genesis Ch:I on the lines indicated by Mrs.
Margaret Lawson, with her "Fellowship of Life". This follows the 1970
Report of the Church Assembly - "Man in his Living Environment", which
accepts responsibility for our lesser brethren and interprets man's
"dominion" in terms of stewardship. Enquiries from Anglicans and other Christian denominations would be
