Satan’s Minions Win a Battle – 14 November 2006

Well, the animal abusers got their way yesterday when their lackey politicos in Washington voted for the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act (AETA). As though the least among us – those who cannot speak for themselves – didn’t already have enough pain and suffering! How Satan and his demons must rejoice at all the wimps selling out!

After hearing about this latest proof of the hardness of heart and corruption rampant in this fallen world, I thought of a passage in the Bible – in the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Ephesians – in which he explains that the physical evil that is seen and felt in this world is the same as, and has its roots in, the spiritual evil that “pulls the strings” so to speak.

Ephesians 6:11-12

11 Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Because of a few people who did something illegal, according to existing laws, the animals are made to suffer by the restrictions and intimidations placed upon the vast majority who seek peacefully and legally to end the atrocities committed against animals.
