"Joyful Curmudgeon" An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful. At the same
time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel
called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.
As a follow-up to yesterday’s Blog, I wrote this poem for today:
Happy Mother’s Day, you say?
Not if you’re a sow or cow
Crammed and jammed,
Insane with pain
Day after day,
Night after night –
Unending fright
From birth to death,
Hidden away; how can we say
“Happy” Mother’s Day?
