"Joyful Curmudgeon" An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful. At the same
time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel
called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.

The hardness of heart that she describes is commonplace in churches, and with the promotion of “macho” activities that have achieved fad status in recent years, is getting even worse. Truly, this is a mocking of anything that Jesus taught; and it is impossible that these “church folks” don’t realize it!
In my opinion, for the best description of what we see happening in the churches, turn in your Bible to Matthew 7:13-27, where Jesus covers it all: from “So then, you will know them by their fruits.” to “…the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it.” to “Beware of false prophets…” and “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven….”
